Loser day 10- mini feast day!

Yo ppl!! Its Wednesday again! My all nonvg eatin day.. N 2de i'll b eating bst of non-veg
thngs! there's a big reason for feasting today.. My 9 days fasts start from tomorrow.. n for obvious reasons no nonveg, no drinks nthng.. so today m gonna hog (nt so much) to my heart's content with my fav nonvg food! :D :D

During all these fasts.. i miss EGG d most.. omellete, boiled egg s'wich, Double fry egg, egg bhurji!! typing all this my mouth started watering.. so wednesday mrng bf had 2 hav egg in it! i opted for a yummy Egg Bhurji n pav wich i got after w8in for sooo long!! evry1 loves bhurji so it takes tym for the order to reach u! :) but the wait was worth it! it was simply yummalicious!!!!! :P

Heavy and content with the bf in the mrng, i thot of taking lunch a li'l later dan my usual 12:15 brktym.. Neelam my bst frnd n Minal my lunch sharing frnd both decided nt 2 come 2 ofyc so i was wondering shud i hav lunch or not.. but my team mates gave me company! Suchha swt place to work wen such ppl r arnd! :) :)
So @ 1 pm i had my chicken loaded lunch.. ordering for chicken tikka masala and 2 chapatis.. evn though i wanted to hav more i simply cudnt! :) n i guess dis was d menu last Wednesday as well ryt! actually i cant help it.. these ppl hav fixed menus throughout d week.. just minor changes..

My Project responsible has taken my diet n mission 2 loose wt a tad too seriously i guess.. coz he has planned OT (over tym) loading us with double d amt of wrk! poor me!! along with fasts, i'll hav 2 work harder!
I reached home and was thinkin which odr form of chicken shud i go 4 nxt.. thats wen my mom declared that she had made chicken biriyani for lunch!! i jumped with joy! My mom makes the world's best biriyani!! till date i havn't had any biriyani dat cud beat my mom's! N she makes it on rare occasions! so i thot of forgetting my no rice rule for 2de n hogged on to the super yummy biriyani! i msgd my devils also n in no tym Big Devil Pratik was @ my place!! hw cud i hav suchha yummy thng n nt share with them! dey wud've killed me! Fearing that i honestly invited him home! :D so swt of me naa! :P


One of the reasons for wich i dont eat rice as i had mentioned b4 was that it makes me slpy n lazy! n the biriyani made me soo full i cudnt move! :P i knew i wud b too slpy to shoot 2de so i dropped the plan of shooting.. I simply took the novel i'd rented d odr day n began reading.. i kno its nt good 2 slp immediately after having food.. so after a good 2 hr brk by 9:30 pm i was so damn slpy i cudnt control n hopped 2 bed! Wow a full 8 hrs slp evn if i get up @ 5:30 am! the idea of devoting 8 hrs 2 my fav hobby was simply awesome n i surrendered to it within no tym! it is said that an average person takes 7 mins to fall asleep.. well those who discovered that havn't met me.. i can slp within a min flat!! :P

Neways.. i need a good sound slp as my rigorous fasts start from 2moro! cyaa! haffun! :) :)

Loser day 9- an ordinary Tuesday

Good mrng ppl! Tuesday is here n m super slpy.. Last nyt's drive was a li'l longer dan usual.. Wich left me with lesser tym 4 my fav hobby- Sleeping! Wenevr I get a chance I slp... Evn in d bus on my way bk home! LOL
Basically slpin is very imp evry1 knowz that but it also helps in losing wt! Nw hw many knew dat!! Those ppl who slp a lot tend 2 gain wt slower... No wonder naps r also called beauty slp! Well dat was d gyaan 4 d day!
Nw fr my bf I ditchd my annadata n went 2 d office cafe n ordered fr a mug of cold coffee with less sugar n he made it so well my frnd Neelam also ordered 1.. My odr colleagues wer havin a feast 4 bf n since I was sitting with dem I had 2 "taste" their dabaas! Jst by tasting only I felt as if I jst had lunch! Super full with 1 bite of parantha, pav bhaji, misaal pav n 1 biscuit!

The bf wich shudn't hav been so heavy left me not at all hungry fr lunch.. i didnt evn feel lyk havin orange @ 11am.. so for lunch and also being Tuesday  i had veg manchow soup like last Tuesday . Seems lyk it has bcum my tuesday fixed lunch! the soup was more filling dan i had expected it 2 b!

On the way back home I rented a new book 2 read.. title says Girl Plus One.. funny name.. lets c hw it turns out 2 b.. there's dis juice centre on the way bk from kalina to my house (remember i've started walking 3 bus stops! ) i felt d urge for a nyc glass of sugarcane juice.. n this newly rented book also gave me good company at the juice centre! ;)


Evening was getting boring wen my younger sister Anjali decided 2 make masala idli! dats wen i knew wt my dinner 4 2de will b! :D :D it was actually tasty with d coconut chutney.. i had mentioned b4 as well dat i genrally dont like Southie food n especially idlis.. but my sis did a great job of making it edible n tasty 4 me! :D thnk u swt sistu! :P


After resting 4 sumtym headed straight for shooting where my coach welcomed me with a ruler 4 bunking 2 days! :P no driving session 2nyt made me sad n evn sadder dat i didnt meet my devils 2de! so to make myslf happy i got 2 my hobby- Sleeping! :P

Loser Day 8- Monday Blues

8th April brings a new week of my attempt n refreshes my will against over eating.. monday always gives its blues be it getting up @ 5 am or dragging myslf to office.. evrythng is jst so boring only bcoz its a MONDAY! I'm sorry 4 being late with d posts coz i was too busy enjoying my sunday i didnt get tym to write nethng! :P

Monday mrng bf was more of a meal with 2 medu wadas n sambhar. M nt dat fond of south indian food but at tyms i do feel like having it and medu wada is 1 of my favs amongst all! super crunchy frm d outsyd n soft n hot frm d insyd.. i simply loved it.. i also had a few bytes frm my office frnd's plates as they had ordered for cheese shezwan dosa!

The bf was so heavy i regretted ordering for 2 rotis with chana masala coz i was already full with half a roti! :( but i dont waste food @ all so i had 2 finish both d rotis sumhw! poor me! :( :(

There r many devils other dan my frnds Pratik n Anushka who hog onto yummy food wen i'm around. To add to the devil list is my office friend Sruthi who offered me a box of milk n assorted chocolates early in d mrng!! she very well knowz chocolate is my weakness. I declined her offer in d mrng but after lunch my swt tooth gave in n I accepted half of a piece of chocolate dat devil gave me!! now u know y i call her a devil! ;)


This kinda dieting has done 1 thng good 4 me.. i am not hungry all d tym nemore.. n wenevr i eat, i eat in very small proportions.. nt lyk b4 wen i used 2 hog evrythng in 1 go! guess these are positive signs.. and i need it coz i need 2 prepare fr the 9 days fasts that are coming my way from mid of this week... which means stricter rules of eating. Actually i dont eat @ all during fasts.. so i wud recommend nt 2 follow dat thing if ur nt used 2 these fasts..

After office i accompanied my office bst friend Neelam to the vodafone store which was lyk a good 45 min walk from the highway! Skywalks hav made walkin really convenient but by d tym v reached i knew my day's walking routine has been completed! :P

Wen i reached home my mom was makin coffee fr herslf n dat reminded me i didnt hav coffee all day 2de! so instead of snackin on sum fruit or nethng else i made myslf a nyc cuppa coffee with 1 spoon of chocolate horlicks too! ;) i love chocolate! :D

Then d devils tempted me 2 bunk my shooting which i was neways in no mood to go 4 n v sat simply chilling, snacking on childhood tyms favourite snacks peppy, piknik and frooty n playing holi with chilled water! :D

I was jst nt hungry @ all for dinner so i went for a drive with my li'l sisters n Devil Pratik whr he made me almost crash onto a bike! :@ I almost skipped a heartbeat! 

On reaching home safely i thanked god dat i survived a drive of that kind n fell asleep in no tym.. :) :)

Loser Day 7- Sunday aka no diet day!!!

7th April brought with it my favourite day- Sunday! It also brought the convocation ceremony of my Post Graduate Diploma in Agri-Business Mgmt from Wellingkars. Super good sunday always starts with a double omelette n 2 pav!


After d scrumptous bf I got ready 4 convocation! Thankfully it came on a sunday or I wud hav 2 give it a miss. The lunch was on Wellingkars so I had no control on d menu. Chicken fried rice was decided 4 non veg eaters! I soooo wanted 2 avoid rice but cudnt help it. The farewell lunch ended with chocolate mousse!

The lunch happened a bit late.. obviously! everybody doesnt have lunch @ 12 in d noon! So d late lunch kept me full throughout d whole eve..
Evn though my Devil frnds wer hoggin on chicken burgers n shawrma I cud easily say a no 2 dem. Evening @ carters was crowded since it was a Sunday. lovely breeze by d sea side and a nyc stroll was refreshing..

Sunday is special fr 1 more reason... My Mom makes Sunday spl chicken recipes! N 2de's chicken masala I jst cudnt ignore. So my dinner was chicken pieces n 1 spoon of rice 4 d gravy dat was left.. it was super yummy n i thanked myslf for not dieting on a sunday!

U guyz must b wondering wt abt my shooting n brisk walk routine... I hav an off 4m range on weekends wich gives me ample tym to enjoy with frnds.. that means no exercise too! :P

Well that marks the end of my 1st week of so called "diet".. i donno how much it has afftected me coz results on me r not visible dat soon.. obviously i've worked so hard hogging all these years to get a body like this.. it will take sum tym 2 shed it as well ryt! ;) so dats all abt my lovely sunday!

I am super excited for the next week to start! cyaa!! :)

Loser day 6- the day wen I broke a rule!

Yo ppl!! Its saturday! Weekend has startd but m wrkin dis sat so office routine fr me as usual.
Bf came unexpectedly soon n I had enuf of healthy food throughout d week monitoring each n evry meal. So I decided on a single slice of bread n butter with d filter coffee.. my annadata is also concernd abt my diet so dey put minimal butter! watevr b d case.. its was Bliss!!


I got so much involved in wrkin dat I 4got havin d orange n my lunch sharing frnd was enjoying her weekend @ home! Nw since I had no 1 to share d lunch with n I obviously cudnt hav had d whole plate so I ordered fr pav bhaji.. Sadly without butter n cheese :-(


The oranges came 2 my rescue @ 5:30 coz I was wrkin till l8 on a saturday!! I also cudnt believe dat!! Sad sad day made me hungry.
Den my Devil frnds thot v shud hav a small party in d eve. My frnd Pratik picked me up 4 d party venue. The kinda bhukkad he is I knew I wud hav company 4 my 6:30 pm dinner! :-P I kno ur reading dis Pratik! ;-)
V both wer damn hungry n knew proper dinner wont v netym soon so v entered Subway!!! The super yummy 6 inch chicken tandoori sub was heavenly! All d More coz I was eating after 6 hrs!

Thats whr I broke a rule coz I'd set dis rule of nt eating frm joints lyk mac d's, kfc, subway n d biggest fav of mine- Dominoes!!
I also hav promised myslf dat i'll cut down on liquor to a bare minimum! Odrwise m a regular drinker- 2-3 tyms a week.. Since der was a party hw cud I ignore it! ;-)

In short Saturday ended well with an awesome party n a li'l guilt though! Cyaa!

Loser Day 5- T.G.I.F

OMG! i can't believe my weird diet has completed almost a week! den comes d weekend! but hey friday is usually d fun day wich makes most of us go 2 wrk happily coz v kno weekend's here!! :D I work alternate saturdays too so no holiday for me tomorrow but dat doesnt make me sad.. coz i know myslf very well.. if i stay @ home mommy dear will make awesome dishes n i'll ignore my diet n i usually keep on hogging wenevr i hav nothng 2 do @ home! normal human tendency! ;)

well friday's bf was again a boiled egg sandwich with 2 glasses of coffee!! yes!! i loved d coffee so much 2de dat i ordered for another 1 after finishing my 1st 1! i had dis huge craving for cadbury bytes but den i chucked it... i'll b happy with d pic of it 4 nw! ;)


As d days are passing by i have totally realised y small meals at regular intervals is so highly recommended! 
so i have added a good habit now.. i snack in between 2 meals.. usually arnd 11am, 4 pm n 10 pm.. and my favourite snacks are oranges or whatevr fruits available @ home, curd and dry fruits.

when lunch came i wasn't feeling hungry so i went 4 a vegetable grill sandwich (mind u.. no cheese!!) n it felt good!! but d moment it struck 4 my tummy growled @ me 4 havin suchha small lunch. to shut it up i had another orange with me thnkfully! ;)

i have to have somethng  filling jst before shooting practice.. all thnx 2 my coach who makes me wrkout so much 4 a sport wich needs only standing in 1 place with mind n body for an hr! checked my fridge n i cud find only 1 thng dat cud help me.. a bowl of CURD!


1 Mistake dieters often do is.. Avoiding Dairy Products.. Its absolutely wrong... Dairy products supply the body with d requisite proteins n d good carbs it needs 2 go throughout d day.. since v avoid carbs n fats during diets dairy products help d body deal with d loss.. i dont like milk dat much but curd i simply love with salt n chaat masala!! ;)

i would wanna confess i committed a small li'l sin.. i had 2 home made dark chocolate pieces after i came bk 4m shooting range but i really stopped myslf 4m havin d 3rd 1!! ;) n dark chocolate is good 4 d body! it was heavenly!!

Loser Day 4: Addition Of a New Rule!

Yo ppl!! its 4th of April n my 4th day as well! start of d day ws quite shocking as my clock gave me an out of d bed shock!! it was 6:40 am n i realised i ovr slpt n my office will start in 5 bloody mins!!!! Horror!!! I informed my Proj Lead dat i jst got up n will reach late! :( this is 1 thing i've been trying to do as a part of my new year resolution.. trying 2 reach office by 6:45a.m. n 2 my surprise i actually managed 2 follow it to a great extent! nw since i reached office @ 8.. BF came too soon 4 me!! :D :D jst half n hr away! so shamelessly i went for my bf to my annadata ICH for my daily cuppa coffee but d early mrng chaos din't gimme tym 2 decide wat shud i hav 4 bf.. so i went for the handy Nutrichoice digestive biscuits n coffee! My Office best frnd Neelam also joined me in having it.. cancelling her bread butter order!! :O ;)


I liked dis pic dats y uploaded it! :D its becoming my fav biscuit nw along with d 5 grain! (those long 1s in d pic) Stuffed with coffee n biscuit i had decided dat i'll get done with my wrk for d day 1st n den watevr TP i wanna do! :P n i donno y but tym was running super fast n lunch came astonishingly faster! i already had my egg masala with me wich my mum had packed n kept 4 her dahling daughter n my dad reminded me 2 take it along with 2 oranges outta wich i had 1 sum 45 mins b4 lunch (it ws so sour :S)

so my lunch was yummiest Egg masala n 2 rotis.. Thank god i decided 2 hav it 4 lunch or i wud've missed such an awesome preparation of my mom!



The new rule that I hav added 2 d diet is 1 of d highly n most commonly recommended dietician tip... Drink plenty of water!
Now my modification here is i'll hav warm water throughout and no water during or jst after meals but only after half n hr! i'll also hav 2 deal with d side effects of havin 4-5 litres of water! #youknowwatimean!


Since i missed 2 days of my routine exercises, rounds n shooting prac.. der was no way i cud miss it 2de too so an hr b4 I leave 4 prac I had my dinner wich was a bole of punjabi dahi kadhi!! Its my favouritest food item with rice. Since I had 2 avoid rice I put jst 1 tablespoon of cooked rice n had my kadhi. Den my regular shooting n stretching followed leaving me hungry again by 10.. Nw d only option I had was 2 hav sum fruit but only mango was available so I stopped mylsf 4m havin more dan 2 slices of yummy alphonso mangoes n cud slp peacefully!

 Update abt my swimming is dat d summer camp will start 4m 16th April so along with shooting I can add another sport 2 my hobby or passion list! ;-)

 Dat was all 4 2de ppl! Till den i'll deal with d side effects of havin so much of water! LOL! Cyaa!!
